How To Add A New Page

Creating a new page in three easy steps

Step One

On the left-hand side of the screen you will see a box with the words "new page" underneath.

Pick a name for your new page. You cannot call it the same as an existing page, but don't worry about doubling-up because the Wiki will tell you if you try to replicate anything.

Type the name of your new page in the box, and press the "new page" button underneath.

Step Two

Congratulations! You should see a blank window in front of you with the title of your page above it. You can change the title of your page at any time.

You can start typing text into the window now. Once finished go to the bottom screen and type your name into the box that says "Short description of changes". Then press the "save" button below that.

Step Three

Your final text should now be in front of you. To change it, press the "edit" button.

The last thing you need to do is add Tags. These are words that help people find what you have written. Press the "tags" button at the bottom of the screen and type key words relating to your text. Each 'tag' is seperated by a space, so if you want to leave a two worded tag you must use a hyphen (e.g. community resilience must be written as community-resilience).
